De-Anonymizing Malware Developers

Recent work has shown that executable binaries can be traced back to the coder using code stylometry and machine learning.
By 2030, anti-virus companies and governmental institutions will be able to correlate malware samples on a large scale in order to identify threat actor groups based on stylistic features.

Malware writers who have not been discovered yet could be de-anonymized, and they will introduce new obfuscation techniques to erase their fingerprints.
